Editing

Cineaste is a quarterly print magazine dedicated to the art and politics of cinema. I joined the magazine as an assistant editor in 2023. My work includes proofreading and fact-checking feature articles, book and film reviews, and interviews. I also co-manage the magazine’s social media channels, website, and e-commerce platform. I participate in all editorial meetings, discuss submissions, and liaise with writers as part of the copy editing process.

In 2019, I joined the peer-reviewed journal Screenworks as an assistant editor and now serve as an associate editor. In that role, I guide submissions through the peer review process, copy edit submissions, and co-manage the journal's social media channels.  To learn more, visit our website and read the description below:

Screenworks publishes practice research in the fields of Communication, Media and Cultural Studies, Art and Design, Performing Arts and related areas. We offer a forum for the dissemination and discussion of new knoweldge that draws on practice research contexts. Creative work is published alongside a written statement, which offers a ‘route map’ of the research process, together with two anonymous reviews, which provide critical feedback on both the work itself and its research context.
